EMG Test Confirms I Have Nerve Damage In My Left Leg!

I went to my Neurologist today where they did an EMG test on my left leg. It’s an electric shock test to see how my nerves are functioning after starting on both of my feet, he went to the upper part of my left leg and tested again, and said, you do not have a muscle problem, you have a nerve problem! 😥

So, for nine months I’ve been going from rehab fall then the paramedics come to take me to the ER which has me stay for a few days, then medic transport me to another rehab and the cycle begins. I’ve fallen 7 times, not counting the bathroom in my little internet doctor’s executive sweet. The last time I was released I drove down south to Bradenton FL to a Thailand Church where my ex-girlfriend had her second stroke and went to be with God at Christmas 2019. Christmas Eve, I blogged this tribute to her life and world travels. Ole bad luck Doc! On May 14th, 2023, I went to church and there was this big bus (bloodmobile) parked in front of the chapel. While I was listening to the pastor talk it dawned on me that in my 71 years on God’s good earth, I never donated blood in my life, and decided this was my day to help others. I climbed aboard and saw two more steps leading to the upper level. I started feeling myself backward. Tumbled out winding up in the church parking lot and landing hard on my left side. I broke two ribs and cut my left leg up.

What irks me the most is, for nine months these Rehabs have been milking my Medicare Supplement Insurance for all they can get. One had me file an appeal when my ins cut them off. I caught Covid in the first one I went to. Just one big nightmare! So next week I’m going for a Spine MRI, with a follow-up with my doctor in March, Why didn’t anyone suspect this? Oh well as I often say, It’s all about The Benjamins Baby! 🙁
