Is WordPress Jetpack Plugin Worth Using? I’ve noticed with its latest release that it is tying wordpress.com into my blog, which I already knew about. But with the current version, It’s offering to sign in with its mothership. And are all the add-on goodies Jetpack is plugging needed? I ditched Jetpack because the mobile app wouldn’t connect with this blog. I gave up trying to debug my site. Jetpack was working fine until its last update.
When I ditched Jetpack and cleared the CloudFlare cache the system performance was a major increase. And no more Jetpack spam in wp-admin. I’m not really into Social Media and create my open graph titles and descriptions in a text editor. Add a shortened URL then copy and paste the data as new posts and walla it’s done.
This might not be for everyone, especially those who are working on social media generating leads, etc. What are your thoughts?
