“Auto Trader and Cars.com both put their report fraud link right op top of a listing where it’s in plain sight. Click it and a pop-up window appears giving you choices of what the report is about, and a text box to give details.
Unfortunately, eBay Motors buries its fraud reporting link at the very bottom of a listing page. Clicking the report this item link prompts whoever is trying to report the fraud to sign into their eBay account. If you don’t have an eBay account you are prompted to register.”
eBay is making it difficult for someone to report a scam listing. It takes people staffing the site to review fraudulent listing reports, and that costs money!
Guess after paying eBay CEO “John Donahoe” $27.5 Million in compensation, there is not much left to hire staffers to review fraud reports. 😥
